FAQ's
Did you really draw everything on this site?
- Yes, I did. :) I created all the original artwork on this site (as well as all the art and photography on my core illustration website). Not to mention I do all my own webdesigning. The graphics, layout and management of both my websites are handled by yours truly ;)
Your art is awesome. May I use it?
- No. I'm just going to say no for everything that's not my exception... The ONLY way you're allowed to use it is: if you want to put it in your blog/journal/something and DIRECT LINK it back to this website (either the illustration section or the button store) and/or my deviantart page. The artwork must not be altered in any way possible, and host it on your own server somewhere. I created the images, I would like credit for all my hard work. Thank you.
What about tattoos?
- Contact me and we will work something out. Please don't go inking yourself with my art without my permission. That'll just make me sad. :( I'll usually say yes to tattoos if asked, for a small fee.
What about uploading them to Photobucket etc. and using it on forums or livejou-
- No. Photobucket's the worst. If I find my art anywhere I do not want it, I will do whatever I can to get it removed. I take art theft seriously. Now... back to being more positive...
What sizes do your buttons come in?
- This site will eventually carry only 1.25" buttons. I currently have supplies for about 100 more 1" buttons, but once they're gone I highly doubt I'm going to replace my 1" inventory. The circles you see on the website is exactly what's on the front of the button, and for size references, do check out the store page for my 1.25" buttons!
How big are your printed goods?
- Bookmarks are roughly 2"x5.6" and Mini Prints are 4"x6". I might be considering 5"x7" or even fullsized (8"x10"/8"x12") prints in the future. I DO however sell all sizes of all sorts of stuff at any of the conventions that I attend!
Can I use anything other than paypal?
- Paypal is the safest way for me to get your payment. I don't really want to have to deal with bounced cheques or lost cash. Feel free to email me and we might be able to find an option that works for you if you seriously can't deal with Paypal. :)
Are your prices in Canadian Dollars or US Dollars?
- Whatever floats your boat. If you live in Canada, pay in CAD. If you live in the US, pay in USD. As long as it works out to what I'm asking you for, it's all good.
How long will it take for my order to get to me?
- It depends on where you live. I'll try my hardest to get orders made and shipped as soon as I get them. I will probably have your order done within 1-3 days (depending on the size and my time), and once they're in the mail they can take 1-3 weeks. I am shipping from Toronto, ON, Canada if that helps. :)
Do you do custom button orders? I'm preparing for a convention and I need someone to punch some of my button designs for me because I don't have my own press.
- I'm sorry, but I'm not taking any orders for other people's designs. This is because a.) I don't have enough time to juggle on extra thing on top of my buttons, personal art, art for school, convention prepping and life itself. In the future I might have links to where you can find people who can press buttons for you. As for b.) with all the art theft out there, I'm really skeptical of printing/producing things for other people if I don't know them well. To avoid that mess, I think it's safer just to punch buttons for myself.
Do you take button commissions?
- That I do. If you would like me to design a button with your character (or anything you want) drawn on it, find out more about that here! Do check my blog or my deviantart journal to see if I'm taking -button- commissions or not. These do tend to open up more towards the summer after Anime North (so about late May to late August).
What about normal commissions? Where is your information for that anyway?
- I've removed standard illustration commission price charts off of my website. This is so I can keep track of who is purchasing art from me and what they'll be using it for (commercial vs. private). If you are interested in commissioning me for a piece of art, send me an email with a brief description of what you expect from me (including where you'll be using the art) and I will get back to you with an estimate. Again, before you do, same rules apply for button commissions. I have to be open for commissions first.
Do you take requests?
- Not really. I prefer to take suggestions instead. ;)
Again, If you have any questions (about anything!) please feel free to email me!
